When inquiring
minds first focus on Pierre's Madness they often ponder on the
names origin. Inspired by a painting entitled, "The Cutting Out Of Pierre's
Madness," dating back to the flemish period, it depicts a
long-forgotten--and in most cases unnecessary--surgery being performed on some
of the most hampered patients. The surgery entailed of several surgical
incisions into the frontal lobe of the brain to sever one or more nerve tracts.
This technique formerly used to treat certain mental disorders, now rarely
performed, is known as a lobotomy. Why the band chose a name quite like this can
only be answered by listening to their music. Songs such as,
"Paranoid," "Alone," &
"Warm Sun On A Rainy Day," are a good place to start,
however those are only just the beginning to the band's innermost artistic
musical expression. Based in Long Island, NY, Pierre's Madness
is a 4-piece, unsigned band with a determination & dedication to getting
their music out to all who will listen.

past 6 months
The album is currently being worked on and is almost
complete... it and will be released shortly.
Its in its mixing phase of
development and then its off to the presses.
