April 10, 2009 Keeping Up on
Updates - Sorry for not keeping this section recent.
Pierre's Madness is currently playing around Long Island and NYC as much as
possible right now. Many more people are displaying interest in the band
and I am beginning to see more and more familiar faces at each show. We
are currently working on new material and working towards recording all the new
and old songs that haven't made there way onto a cd yet. The band is
trying to save there money to get this moving. The boys in PM are trying
to plan a trip where we would travel to a couple of places like NJ, LA and
CALIFORNIA. Wed like to set it up so that we are playing almost
everyday and play a show every night to get some more exposure. We
are doing well and just wanted to update the news portion of the website so that
you know where we are at in the music biz.
May 14, 2008 HittMusicGroup.com -
Pierre's Madness is working with a company Hittmusicgroup.com to get
some things rolling on the business end of the band. Although we love
playing music, we dont want to be playing bars for the rest of our lives.
We wont ever sell out, we just want a way to make this out job. We cannot
support ourselves on head money in the club scene. So were looking to move
to the next level, get signed, sell some records, get in a movie, video game,
anything, just to get our music out to anyone who will listen.
May 11, 2008 Mcoys (Last Night Playing There
Ever)- Pierres Madness would just would like to thank
everyone who came out to see us at MCOYS this past friday. Its sad it was
our last show there. Our friend Jeff Mcoy has moved on to persue a new bar
opportunity. Weve played our hearts out at that place and loved playing
there and will miss the place. Apparently there will be some Acoustic
gigs available at his new place in ammityville. We look foward
to bringing our songs to acoustic there. There is no hiding
songs when playing acoustic. If the song sucks, it wont sound good
acoustic. Song writing really shines when bring it back raw, and to the
basics.
April 01, 2008 Recording this Summer -
PM has been playing every where that will book them, performing new material and
checking out reactions from fans. The band, Usually locked in a basement
somewhere on long island, making music has always been natural for them.
They need to bring this music out on the road to see what sticks, look at
peoples faces, see what they like, what songs do they bob there heads too.
Although we just do what we love when performing, we need your help on what
songs will go on this cd. We will be putting up some samples for a vote on
what should be included. The amount of material we have needs to be put
down onto a new CD. The EP, Lobotomy we have out right now, although
we like how it went, doesn't particularly portray our live sound at the
moment. So we are itching to get our new songs down in a
studio. Now, where to record? The last studio we recorded in
was floaded, everything ruined. So this time were going to have to
shopping. We are going to be doing it right this time. Taking as
much time as it will take regardless of how much time it will take to perfect
it.

In an
article written by Joe Lombino: Venue: Mulcahy's, Wantagh Date:
03/18/03
Opening up the night was THE RETURN., a funk/reggae band
that was so chill to listen to. A fun group that can get you dancing and at the
same time you can just lay back and relax to the funky beats of THE RETURN. They
also through in a great song representing where their from, LONG ISLAND.
Next up was a 3-piece rock band by the name of PRODUCTS OF
CONCEPTION, led by frontman Matt Connoly. This band gets better
everytime I see them and with their CD due out shortly you can expect to be
hearing a lot more good stuff coming our way.
The night had one last surprise still
to come. A band by the name of PIERRE'S
MADNESS. Right from their opening instrumental jam session
to start off the set, you knew this was going to continue to be a great night,
and it certainly was. PIERRE'S
MADNESS rocked with a pop feel at times, and they
also win the award for the night for best giveaways, everyone that was here last
night knows what I'm talking about, except probably the guy that
actually won the giveaway!
February 1, 2003- "The Continental" in

Sept 1,2002- The Musicians
Lighthouse in Washington Square Park
The Musicians Lighthouse
Concert, August 31, 2002, and September 1, 2002, 12PM-9PM both days.
The Musicians Lighthouse concert represents true spirit and glory for
all musicians. This free concert is about unification, celebration, and
musical exposure, as well as, a tribute to New York City. On August 31,
2002, and September 1, 2002, 16 bands will come together in unity and perform
for the great city of New York, on ONE PLATFORM. The performing musicians
have taken the initiative to take control over their musical careers by
entertaining the masses with great music. These are some of the finest
unsigned acts today.
The music ranges from pop rock to reggae
rock to alternative and progressive rock music. All 16 bands stem from the New
York, Tri-state area and are hardworking, struggling artists with hopes and
aspirations to have their music heard by more and more people; larger and larger
audiences. This Lighthouse concept represents a greater exposure for musicians
to be viewed and heard; an opportunity to take control over their musical
careers. This concert commences in Washington Square Park on Saturday,
August 31 and Sunday, September 1, 2001. The
Musicians Lighthouse Concert hopes to go on a national/international tour
in 2003-2004.
